Meet Jennifer- 2018 Beautiful Mother
When I think about Jennifer I am constantly in awe of her love and grace. She makes me strive to be better as a daughter of Christ, mother and wife. She is truly the epitome of a beautiful mother.
When I asked my amazing friend to tell me more about how she has been inspired in life and how she became the woman she is, she gave all the glory to God and all the credit to her family and friends. You would have thought she was turning the nomination for herself into one for each of them! She says, “I have had so many examples of goodness, strength, love and kindness in my life! They have shaped me into me impotenzastop.it!” It was such a blessing to get to know her deeper while writing this article. And it further showed me that she was the perfect choice to be this years Beautiful Mother.
Influences
Among all the amazing people Jennifer credited to making her the woman she is, was her mom and dad. “My Dad had taught me the true meaning of love and selflessness… He showed me that everyone’s life matters and you are important! My mom has showed me how to be a mom… I can’t remember a time in my life that she wasn’t there for even the smallest of things! My parents have set a wonderful example of how God intended marriage to be!”
With love straight out of a Nicholas Sparks novel, Jennifer has been with her husband for 20 years. At only twelve, Jennifer told Neil she was going to marry him, and now, having been married for nine years they have two beautiful daughters together. “He is my rock, he is my true best friend, he never judges but always listens, and he knows my flaws and still sees my beauty!”
Jennifer always puts her daughters first. “Both my children have special talents that they can use to share Christ with others! I am so proud to be their mom! They have taught me more than you could ever imagine! There are a lot of times I’m like aha! I see what you did there God! My most rewarding thing I do is homeschooling my kids. We have hard, let me bawl my eyes out, days that are made up with the joy on my kids face when they finally get what they were struggling with.”
What She Does
Jennifer, also, loves landscape photography and travels on a regular basis to see God’s creation. She says it reminds her of her favorite verse, Hebrews 12:28-29 ‘Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire libido-de.com.’ “I will one day see something more beautiful than I could ever fathom! Way more beautiful than the landscape I am seeing and since the kingdom we are receiving can not be shaken like this world we should be thankful that God loves us so much to give us a way to eternity and so worship him with awe!”
I can’t remember a time when I have spoken to Jennifer and she wasn’t offering help to a friend, neighbor, or volunteering at church. Whether it be offering to sew a costume for another childs play, watching someones children last minute, or teaching childrens church, she does everything she can for others without expecting a thing in a return. There is so much to Jennifer and what makes her so amazing, there isn’t enough to be said for her selflessness, strength, support, faithfulness and love for others.
Who She Is
In short, Jennifer says it best. “I love to laugh and smiling makes me feel beautiful! I’m scared of the dark but love to stand outside at night to see the fireflies put on a show! To sing loudly especially when I don’t think anyone can hear me! I try to solve the world’s problems every night at bedtime and I love deeply and get attached easily! I have a soft spot for teenagers and underdogs! I’m a messy person but try hard to have a clean house, which hardly ever happens. I love the idea of gardening but I do not have a green thumb and I like to read but haven’t finished a book in a long time. I love my children without abandon and pray every night that I am doing this mom thing right! But most important I am a child of the one true King and he created us all in his likeness and to be unique… that is what makes me, ME!”
