Beauty Revived- Search for Americas Beautiful Mothers
Local Photographer Joins National Search for a Beautiful Mother
As part of the Beauty Revived photography movement, Alicia Hollars is asking for nominations! She is on the lookout for a beautiful mother in Tyler, Texas to be featured in a national magazine.
The beauty of these women is not measured by their waist size or flare for fashion. No, these women are chosen because of their real beauty, courage and countenance. The winner is given a free photo session with A Little Love Photography and a feature in the Mother’s Day issue of Beauty Revived magazine.
Beauty Revived is a movement that celebrates women with real beauty. Photographers donate sessions to these women and their stories are featured in their magazine and website: www.beautyrevived.com.
Hundreds of photographers applied to be a part of the Beauty Revived 50 Beautiful Mothers campaign. Alicia Hollars of A Little Love Photography has been chosen to find a deserving mother to photograph.
“The Beauty Revived campaign symbolizes what I am about in my business. The beauty and love in life. I am so excited to be to take part in this amazing movement.” – Alicia Hollars
Hollars is accepting nominations from until 1 February 2017. She will choose one to donate a photography session to include: hair and makeup by Rhena Frounfelker of Rhenas Hairloom and props by Courtney Hallonquist of Perfect Pick’n. The mother chosen will be an example of real beauty. She will have shown her beauty by her service when weary, grace in defeat and kindness when tried.
“As mothers, we concentrate so much of our time and energy on everyone else and push ourselves to the side. I want to remind you that you are ‘fearfully and wonderfully made’. You are beautiful and what you do is amazing.” – Alicia Hollars
Beauty Revived was started eighteen months ago as a way for photographers to use their lens for good. To shine light on the real beauty that was happening in our communities. In the last year and a half, more than 300 women, girls and children were featured on their website and magazine.
“As a high school senior photographer, I started Beauty Revived because I saw the power that a photographer has in shaping perception and altering dialogue on beauty,” Michelle Gifford, Beauty Revived founder, said.
“The photographers who participate in our campaigns not only have great technical and artistic talent but also have big hearts and a desire to be more than just a picture taker. They want to be a photographer who changes the world with their work,” Gifford said katalog.
