Easter is the time of year that we reflect on the incredible sacrifice Jesus made for us. It represents new life. The sun warms the earth. Trees sprout new leaves. The grass greens and thickens. 2017… I have high hopes for you. 2016 was a beautiful yet harsh year. We made many leaps of faith and are still in the middle of them. We begin this year in limbo… awaiting our lives to find their path. However, our faith has remained strong, in fact, for me it has grown immensely. My trust in our Father has solidified. The military life has had its ups and downs for our family. I, myself, am an Air Force veteran. However, for the past 8 years my husband, Joshua, has proudly served for the Army. After much deliberation and prayer, he decided to leave the Army and return home to be a Texas State Trooper.
